I've got a couple of favorites.

It may get overused, but Psalm 23 is still wonderful. Through the hard times, I tend to concentrate on:
Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for Thou art with me.

Another good one is:

Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go. (Joshua 1:9)

Is that what you're talking about?

I love Beth Moore's take on Isaiah 6: "In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord..." I get from that: don't wait until your "King Uzziah" (hero, idol, priority, apathy) is gone/lost/dead/worthless to "see the Lord." Don't let that that "thing" (whatever it may be) block your view. Maybe not exactly what you were looking for but I love it.
