seriously. i need your prayers. HoWeVeR...there are some tough questions i am not sure of and who better to ask than my friends, right?
i am not trying to lose friends here but i would like your complete honesty. I am a big girl. If the answer is too much and you can't comment here, let me know somewhere when no one is "listening" (apparently i am expecting the worse from you guys)
so Shannan, Cortnie, Trina- you guys who read and never say anything, its time. i need your voice. this is important information that you are offering.
ok -enough drama...here's what i need the answers for-
1..."What famous person reminds you of yourself?"
2..."List 3 adjectives that best describe yourself"
(i have no idea on the first one and the second i am wierded out about describing myself)
now i need to know how YoU would answer these questions:
3..."Are there any locations in the world to which you absolutely will not travel?" if so identify where and why
4..."What part of the world is the least interesting to you and why?"
4..."What part of the world is the least interesting to you and why?"
(these are hard for me to answer because i just don't know enough about the "world" to know if there is a place i don't want t0 go, other than the places we are in war with..)
ThAnK YoU for your time.

Ok Gena, add me to the list of those reading and never commenting! Famous person? Susan Sarandon (young version, of course). Because you are strong, independent, motivated...(those can be your adjectives). What part of the world is least interesting? Any place you've already been - you need to see NEW stuff!!
Love you!
gina! i am assuming no baby yet? i am sure life is so comfortable for you right now- you are in my everyday prayers!
thanks for the kudos involving Susan. I do like her- motivated? i could so argue that one.
Do you watch the Race?
please officially become a part of the blogger world. its a great way for us to keep in touch. miss you!
and if anyone reads this morning- pray for our staff meeting with Chris Kirby (and his wife?) i am anxious because he was awesome last night. He's real and open. we like him! i hope the kids do too.
still praying for the search and NOW praying for the race. wow. news to me. I seriously would tell you to ask my mom these quesitons. She's amazingly (no pun intended) good at original answers. That's what you need - original answers - so you'll stand out.
Famous person? I don't know. How about Julie Clark? "Julie Clark, a stay-home mom and former teacher, founded The Baby Einstein Company in 1997 to give her own child exposure to the arts...Julie’s ingenuity and creativity were well received...Baby Einstein was a classic “basement start-up” — driven by vision rather than market research, launched with personal savings, and initially operated from Julie’s home...Julie believes that children could enjoy classical music, art, poetry and nature...Baby Einstein was making substantial demands on Julie’s time and negatively impacting her first love — parenting...Julie recognized that the company’s next growth stage would require professional management..." Is that stupid?
3 adjectives...Real. Diligent. Flexible. Influential. Competent, but flaky enough to be entertaining. I don't even know what the amazing race is about so I don't know what they might be looking for...
Are there any locations in the world to which you absolutely will not travel?" If so identify where and why. What if you say no. What if you just say there are no places you wouldn't try. ?
"What part of the world is the least interesting to you and why?"
You know whatever you say on these questions is where they're going to put you, right? What if you say you cannot think of any place that would not be interesting? I mean, people are interesting. Creation is interesting. If you had your CD player, you couldbe happy anywhere, right?
Sorry I didn't help much but I DID think them through...
Prayers today, please.
backwards to forwards...
least interesting place in the whole world is really Nebraska. I mean when you get right down to it, it's cows and corn. and stink.
Place you wouldn't want to go:
well it's dark in Alaska right now, so no sunsets and sunrises. Also, i've heard it is really stinky in most of Russia and Poland - and we both know stinky=miserable. Shannan said there was a very short supply of toliet paper in China, along with no toliets, only squatter holes. You may not like this so much. along with lots of tomatoes and chicken heads.
3 adjectives:
Spontaneous, intense, analytical
Famous Person:
1/2 Mary Katherine Gallagher, 1/2 Gwyenth Paltrow
good luck :) i'll keep Sadie :)
Famous person...I can't think of any quickly. I will get back to you if I think of one (I agree with baron33 you are one of a kind, I mean that in a good way)
3 adjectives...FUN,DEEP,SPIRITUAL
I think you should be open to any locations(how exciting), they probably want flexible people
I don't think I am much help, but I think you are definitely Amazing Race worthy. I would enjoy watching you even if I didn't know you.
Well there you go, I posted a comment, but don't get too used to it.
Luv ya!
cortnie, i promise i was thinking in my head..."cortnie speaks" as i clicked on your name and your blog "speechless" comes up. perfect.
although you have a great voice. audibly wise (is that a phrase?) we all want to hear you talk and wish we could hear more. not to mention you always have good things to say. i can't wait till this "speechless" blog is in action.
those who may not know cortnie, she is from michigan...her accent rocks, tell aunt bobbie i said that)
holly, loved hearing from you today! the divine Ms. M might just work- your my wind baby (ha)
